Hello! I'm Chelcie - I'm an artist, designer, and herbalist. I was born a maker and a lover of nature; I grew into an art-witch and nature-nun. Together, art-making and herb-crafting are my form of ritual magic and devotional practice -- the way I celebrate the natural world, its inhabitants, and the sacred/profane dance of life.

Vulgaris is a Latin word meaning "common" or "of the common people" - plants with this botanical name are usually abundant, accessible, and of great value to the folks who rely on them for food, medicine, or materials. I’ve adopted the moniker as a reminder to embody the qualities of these plants I admire - generosity, integrity, service, and connection.
